Established in 2003 by Luca Novi, Playground srl grew to become one of the most valuable volleyball agency in the world.

Our success comes from our unique “total management” approach, which sees us identify the best young players and then be their guide at all stages of their careers, from signing their first pro contracts right up to lifting the Champions League trophy and beyond.

luca novi
CEO / Agent
Founder of Playground srl, Luca has been working in the sector since 1994.
He starts working as an agent immediately after obtaining a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Modena.
For years he has collaborated with the Bicocca University of Milan as a teacher in the Masters in Sports Law.
leonardo caponi
Agent
Former pro volleyball player, after 15 years as an athlete, he plays the role of Sport Director in prestigious professional clubs. From 2009 he joined the Playground team as an agent and puts his experience in the field and as a manager at the service of our clients, important awards in the recruiting of the best national and international players.
He follows in particular the contractual evolutions and the relationships between players and clubs.
emanuele birarelli
Agent
Former Captain of the Italian National Team, 20 years as Pro volleyball Player, 8 years as member of the Italian National Team.
In 2020 he joined the Playground team as agent.
His target is to find talented young players and help them to build a successful carrier.
alberto cisolla
Marketing and Sponsorship Manager
Former Captain of the Italian National Team , 26 years as pro volleyball player and 9 years in Italian National Team .
In Italy he won 7 Italian Championship and in 2005 he won the Best Player award at the European Championship .
In 2023 Alberto joined the Playground team as Marketing and Sponsorship Manager.
Alberto is ready to help and support all athletes in Playground Agency to find and create new collaborations between Brand/Company and Athletes.
Wout Wijsmans
Agent
Former pro volleyball player with a 14 years career in the Italian Superlega, 10 years as a club captain. Many years player of the Belgian National team.
Played in Italy, China, Turkey, Belgium, Qatar, Dubai and Puerto Rico.
In 2021 Wout joined the Playground team as agent. He wants to use his experience as a player and captain to follow up and assist young talented players.
